EEE Graduate Seminar – November 7

The speaker for the EEE Graduate Seminar on November 7 is Dr. Krystel Castillo, Lutcher Brown Chair for Mechanical Engineering, Vice President for Energy Efficiency at the Cybersecurity Manufacturing Innovation Institute, and Director of the Texas Sustainable Energy Research Institute, at The University of Texas at San Antonio.

EEE GSO Meeting

The EEE GSO General Body Meeting will be held this Friday, November 3, from 1-2PM in POTR 234. All EEE graduate students are welcome to attend.

CE Executive Forum on November 1

Jeff Meredith, CEO at Chamberlain Group – BSCE 1992, MSCE 1997 – will share his career journey and discuss both his successes and his setbacks, while offering valuable guidance on achieving personal and professional goals.  More details about Jeff’s background can be found in the attached flyer.

RSVP today to attend the CE Executive Forum from 11:30-12:20 p.m.  In addition, there are a limited number of seats available to have lunch with our speaker immediately following the forum, so don’t wait to sign up!

Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) International Scholarship

Individuals must be accepted as full-time graduate students pursuing courses of study and research leading to careers in air quality, waste management, environmental management/policy/law, and/or sustainability during the 2024/2025 academic year. Membership is not a requirement for the student or their advisor; however, it is strongly encouraged. The scholarship is a one-year award. Individuals must reapply to qualify for a second year. 

Scholarship applications for 2024 are now being accepted. The deadline is Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm Eastern Time.
