Congratulations! EEE faculty and students receive awards from Purdue College of Engineering

EEE faculty and students were recently honored with graduate education awards from the Purdue College of Engineering.

Congratulations to the 2022 winners of the College of Engineering's graduate education awards! These awards recognize excellence in graduate mentoring, teaching, service, or research.

Dr. John Howarter (Purdue Environmental and Ecological Engineering and Purdue Materials Engineering) received the Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award for his exceptional advising of Purdue graduate engineering students.

Purdue EEE graduate student Kendrick Hardaway received the 2022 Purdue University College of Engineering Magoon Award, which recognizes outstanding teaching assistants and instructors in memory of Estus H. and Vashti L. Magoon. 

NSF Fellow and EEE graduate student Rachel Gehr received the College of Engineering Outstanding Service Award for making a meaningful contribution to the Purdue graduate student community.

Li Song received the Outstanding Graduate Research Award from the College. Song completed her Ph.D. in Spring 2022 and plans to pursue data-driven solutions to environmental and urban sustainability issues.
