Julie Liu named 2025 inductee of the Purdue University Teaching Academy

The Purdue University Teaching Academy has announced 14 inductees for 2025 in recognition of their outstanding and scholarly teaching in graduate, undergraduate or engagement programs. Candidates were identified by their individual department or college/school based upon evidence of excellence in teaching, innovation in teaching methodology, teaching-related service, and scholarship in teaching and learning.

ChE Alumna Deborah L. Grubbe to receive 2025 Ted C. Kennedy Award and Medal

Deborah L. Grubbe (BSChE ’77, HDR 2010), owner and president of Operations and Safety Solutions, Inc., has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the prestigious Ted C. Kennedy Award and Medal by the National Academy of Construction (NAC). The award, the Academy’s highest honor, will be presented to Grubbe at the NAC Annual Meeting on Oct. 30 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
