ChE Professor Zoltan K. Nagy receives 2018 AIChE Process Development Division Research Award

Davidson School of Chemical Engineering Professor Zoltan Nagy has been awarded the 2018 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Process Development Division Research Award for significant technical contributions to the advancement of process development. Sponsored by Pfizer, the AIChE Process Development Division Research Award is highly competitive, and awards are presented based on contributions within research, teaching, or regulatory activities. Nominations are received from around the world.

Announcing the award, Dr. Jay F. Miller, AIChE Process Division Award Chair, commented that Nagy’s work stood out from among all other entries. Nagy was selected based on documented appraisal of his accomplishments in the field of process development, identification of specific work in the discipline, supporting letters from colleagues, and additional documents which demonstrated his superior accomplishments.

The award includes a plaque and $1,000, plus two complimentary tickets to the Process Development Division Awards Dinner, which will be held at the 2018 AIChE National Conference in October.
