Professor A. Varma Elected Foreign Member of Mexico's Academy of Engineering

Arvind Varma, R. Games Slayter Distinguished Professor and Head, School of Chemical Engineering, has been elected as an Académico Correspondiente (Corresponding Academician, the category for foreign members) of Mexico's Academy of Engineering. This election is in recognition of his academic and professional accomplishments as well as his contributions in support of Chemical Engineering in Mexico.

Arvind Varma, R. Games Slayter Distinguished Professor and Head, School of Chemical Engineering, has been elected as an Académico Correspondiente (Corresponding Academician, the category for foreign members) of Mexico's Academy of Engineering.   This election is in recognition of his academic and professional accomplishments as well as his contributions in support of Chemical Engineering in Mexico.  The Academy has 378 elected members, 52 in the Química (Chemical) section, and Varma is the third foreign member elected to the section.
