Joseph Alford elected Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers

Joseph Alford (BS ‘66) has been elected Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

 

Joseph Alford (BS ‘66) has been elected Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

He is now a fellow of two different technical societies AIChE and ISA (Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation society, soon to be International Society of Automation).

Dr. Alford is currently the Head of Joseph S. Alford, LLC,  Automation Consulting Services and was previously and Engineering Advisor, Eli Lilly and Co.,  (retired in 2006 after 35 years).

 

Election to Fellow grade in AIChE requires the individual to be in chemical engineering practice for a minimum of 25 years, and is awarded in recognition of professional attanment and significant accomplishments in engineering.
