The Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering, in partnership with Purdue University’s Summer College for High School Students, offers an annual summer course for college credit.
The Developing Tomorrow’s Infrastructure Fun Sized Course will tentatively take place June 23-27 and July 7-11, 2025. This one-week summer course allows high school students the opportunity to learn about a wide range of career opportunities within civil and construction engineering, build skills in working with teams, and develop a broad picture of how civil and construction engineering impacts your community and shapes the possibilities of the future. While living and studying on campus, students are able to explore Purdue’s campus and learn how to identify the needs of our communities through hands-on experiences and project-based learning.
