Civil Engineering celebrates school's naming

The Purdue University School of Civil Engineering officially marked its renaming as the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at a ceremony Friday (Sept. 26). The school is named in recognition of a $15 million gift from the Lyles Foundation.

Civil Engineering UK Study Abroad

Professor Bullock led a group of fourteen engineering students on a Study Abroad trip to the United Kingdom in May, 2014. The trip blended experience-based learning about 18th and 19th century civil engineering infrastructure with field visits to modern 21st century engineering systems under construction.

CE Alumnus receives 2014 ARMA Cook Award

Dr. Ahmadreza Hedayat (Ph.D. 2013) is the recipient of the 2014 Dr. N.G.W. Cook Ph.D. Dissertation Award. The award is given annually by the American Rock Mechanics Association for the best doctoral dissertation in rock mechanics or rock engineering.
