Post-doctoral student Cibin Raj was awarded the Best Student/Post-Doc of the Year award at the 2014 international SWAT (soil water assessment tool) conference.

This award honors and recognizes a member of ASABE who has performed noteworthy contributions to the advancement of soil and water engineering in teaching, research, planning, design, construction, management or development of materials.

ASABE defines a Fellow as a member of unusual professional distinction, with outstanding and extraordinary qualifications and experience in, or related to, the field of agricultural, food, or biological systems engineering.

Each division selects up to 5% of the papers published by their division for an award. Winners are presented with a certificate during the General Session and Recognition Program at the Annual International Meeting and each author receives a certificate.
