Ever have trouble talking with the public about controversial research topics? Wonder what perceptions of science are in the general public? Then please join a panel of your peers for an upcoming discussion on Oct 7. Is Science a Bad Word? will feature four faculty members experiences' discussing science with different audiences.

Purdue Convocations will host a new one-day seminar on the benefits and risks surrounding some of the technologies that are both the most disruptive to current practices and being adopted the fastest. This seminar will present interdisciplinary discussions examining the research, opportunities, challenges, and questions brought about by the increasingly rapid rate of technological change.

Our seniors will present their Capstone Projects Thursday afternoon, April 24, 2014, from 1:30 until 3:30 pm at the ADM Agricultural Innovation Center.

Each year the College of Agriculture honors alumni for their significant achievement in their field. This year, ABE is honored to have a recipient of the DAA: W. Douglas Griffin.
