Michael J. Corso receives President Award and named secretary of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA)
Fort Myers, Florida - The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Michael J. Corso, a stockholder with the firm, received the President's Award from the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA), and has also been named the new Secretary-Treasurer of the Association. The FDLA is comprised of over 1,000 lawyers at private practice, private corporation and public entity levels. Its goals are to promote a level playing field in civil litigation and to foster its members' growth as professionals.
The President's Award represents the outstanding member for the past year. Additionally, Corso's transition from Board of Directors Member to Officer will promote him to the President position within the next two years.
Corso is the chair of Henderson Franklin's tort and insurance litigation division, and focuses his practice in the defense of non-medical professionals, including lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers and surveyors, copyright/trademark infringement, product liability and more general tort defense matters in litigation. He is Board Certified, by both The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy, in Civil Trial Law and Business Litigation.
