U.S. News and World report’s latest rankings report shows that a bachelor’s degree from Purdue AAE is more valuable than ever.

The Purdue University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Purdue AAE), famed for its cutting-edge aerospace research and its large cadre of astronaut alumni, has been ranked No. 3 in the U.S. for a third consecutive year. This ongoing achievement coincides with the program graduating more aerospace engineers than any other school.

“We’re proud to offer an unparalleled hands-on education at Purdue – in line with our university’s land-grant promise. We have made significant investments in recent years to bring in teaching-focused faculty with real-world experience, adding more lab equipment to make sure our students get a high-quality, hands-on education, and securing a maker space where our student organizations can work on various design-build projects,” says Bill Crossley, the Uhrig & Vournas Head of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

“Our excellent results continue to drive our enrollment to new records. Being ranked in the top three yet again shows that our commitment to education continues to show results.”

This latest ranking report also showed great placements across the university. Four other schools in the College of Engineering were ranked in the top five in their disciplines. Purdue continues to be the top public university in Indiana, is the No. 3 public university for internships and co-ops, and is a top-10 most innovative public university in US for 8 years running.
