The aerospace industry remains a male-dominated field. The good news is that more women are being promoted to the top leadership positions. The women highlighted in the SAE book “Flight Paths to Success: Career Insights from Women Leaders in Aerospace” have found their own way to navigate the industry and rise to top leadership roles.
In a WebEx event, five panelists will share their insights regarding making a career change, balancing work with personal responsibilities, earning advanced degrees, mentoring, avoiding stalls and powering through difficult times.
Joining co-author Rhonda Walthall on the panel will be four women who contributed chapters to the book, AAE Professors Alina Alexeenko and Kathleen Howell and AAE alumnae Beth Moses and Tamaira Ross.
Registration is required for the WebEx event. Three people who register will be selected at random to receive an autographed copy of the book.
