Panel discussion
After Mark Lewis gives a lecture on "Emerging Technologies and the Future of National Defense," a panel discussion will include "National Defense Relevant Research at Universities: Approaches to conducting the research and important technology topics for university research."
Panelists include Carol Handwerker, Reinhardt Schuhmann Jr. Professor of Materials Engineering; Stephen Heister, Raisbeck Engineering Distinguished Professor for Engineering and Technology Integration; Mark Lewis, Executive Director, NDIA’s Emerging Technologies Institute; Jen Neville, Miller Family Professor of Computer Science and Professor of Statistics; Jonathan Poggie, Professor, School of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
The panel is hosted by AAE Professor Daniel DeLaurentis and moderated by AAE Ph.D. student Liz Benitez.
