A veteran of three NASA missions and member of Purdue’s Cradle of Astronauts will visit the university Saturday (October 21) for the annual Purdue Space Day.

Purdue Space Day 2017 will be held on Saturday, October 21st. Registration for this free event will begin at 8:00 a.m. on September 1st.

One of the most launched astronauts in history was on the Purdue University campus for this year's Purdue Space Day.

Every fall, hundreds of elementary and middle school students flock to West Lafayette, Indiana, for a fun-filled day of launching water rockets, experimenting with mini Mars rovers and learning about what lies beyond Earth’s atmosphere.

On Sunday, parents and children gathered for a special day camp at Purdue University all for a chance to learn about space and meet the second man to walk on the moon.
