Purdue Engineering Undergraduate Education is among the current global leaders in educating engineers. Boilermaker engineers have access to top-notch programs in 18 engineering majors throughout the College of Engineering’s schools and divisions and find themselves part of a vibrant community of premier talent.

Boilermakers are history makers

Purdue Engineering is home to many engineering education landmarks, including the nation's first Women in Engineering Program (1969), the founding site of the National Society of Black Engineers (1975), Engineering Projects in Community Service (1995) and the nation’s first Department of Engineering Education (2004). Home to both the first and the most recent people to walk on the moon, Purdue has been producing engineering graduates for more than 150 years. While Purdue Engineering has produced world-renowned alumni for decades, we believe the history makers of the future are starting their educational journeys now in West Lafayette and Indianapolis.
