Dr. Takashi Hibiki receives Distinguished Service Award

Congratulations to Dr. Takashi Hibiki for receiving the Distinguished Service Award recently from the Heat Transfer Society of Japan during their 50th Anniversary celebration November 2011.  Dr. Hibiki was one of the six recipients from the foreign members of the Heat Transfer Society of Japan. Dr. Hibiki is one of the youngest recipients of this award.

The Heat Transfer Society of Japan (HTSJ) is a unique, nonprofit association in Japan of the scientists engaged in heat transfer research or in various engineering aspects related to heat transfer. The Society now holds about 1,500 members, widely covering scientists and engineers in various disciplines including mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, nuclear engineering, air-conditioning and refrigeration, biological/biomedical engineering, food processing, architectural engineering, earth science, etc. The HTSJ is an independent  organization in the domain of science and engineering. The HTSJ represents Japan in the international heat transfer community. This Society also accepts members from other countries with scientific and engineering background in related fields.
