Purdue IE graduate students and faculty win annual awards

Two graduate students and one faculty member from the School of Industrial Engineering were recently honored for their service, teaching and mentoring efforts this year.

Each year the Purdue College of Engineering honors graduate students and postdocs for ther outstanding work with awards for teaching, research, and service. In addition to this students select a faculty member who excels in serving the students in a mentorship capacity.

This year two IE graduate students were honored for their excellence in teaching with the Magoon Excellence in Teaching Award:

  • Lucas Mori
  • John A. Biechele-Speziale

In addition to this, Praditya Ajidarma was honored with the Outstanding Service Award.

Ana Maria Estrada Gomez, assistant professor of industrial engineering, was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award.
