IE's Wenzhuo Wu named Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts

Wu, Ravi and Eleanor Talwar Rising Star Associate Professor, was recently elected Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

The Royal Society of Arts, more formally known as the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, was founded in 1754 in London.  The society was established to enrich society "through ideas and action." According to their website, the organization states that their aim is to work on societal challenges in areas such as the future of work and "enabling people, places and the planet to flourish." 

The organization, which is based in the U.K., includes notable past fellows such as Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Stephen Hawking, Karl Marx, Adam Smith, and Marie Curie.
