IE's Wenzhuo Wu awarded the Young Scientist Award from Microsystems & Nanoengineering (MINE)
The award was given at the Young Scientists Forum organized by MINE, which brings together leading scientists from universities and research institutions around the globe in the field of nanotechnology. The areas of interest include flexible electronics, biomedical microsystems, advanced manufacturing, energy harvesting, self-powered microsystems, biomedical sensors and actuators, and advanced micro-nano sensors.
Wenzhuo was one of the 18 scientists worldwide to win this award. Wenzhuo was recognized for his seminal contributions to pioneering the research of tellurene, an emerging two-dimensional material with intriguing properties for high-performance nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, wearable sensors, and quantum devices.
