We are hiring - Professor of Engineering Practice and Professional MSIE Program Coordinator
including: teaching the capstone design project courses and potentially other coursework in support of the program, identifying and serving as a liaison with industry project sponsors, coordinating a professional development seminar series, recruiting, and program outreach activities and marketing. Teaching interests should include a primary area of Industrial Engineering, as well as project management, business and technical communication, leadership development, and ethics.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Human Factors, Manufacturing, Systems or a related field; have significant industry experience, with evidence of leadership; and demonstrated potential to build and sustain a robust, complex program. The successful candidate will work effectively with industry partners and faculty, demonstrate teaching excellence, provide mentoring to students and other program support staff, and perform service both at the School and the University levels as needed.
