Purdue students receive books at 2015 INCOSE GLRC
IE master's student Di Hu receives her books from INCOSE members Ernest Ansu-Gyeabour (l) and Jack Stein (r).
Purdue University’s Student Division of International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) sponsored student participation at the INCOSE Great Lakes Regional Conference (GLRC) conference in Cleveland, OH, Oct. 23-25.

The conference organizers recognized Purdue student participation by presenting members of the student division with three systems engineering books each:

  • General Systems Theory by Ludwig von Bertalanffy

  • Introduction to Cybernetics by William Ross Ashby

  • Handbook of Systems Engineering by INCOSE

The Purdue INCOSE Student Division’s (PuISD) mission objective is to promote systems engineering knowledge on the Purdue campus along with providing members with opportunities to engage with academic and industry leaders.

“Encouraging and enabling student participation at INCOSE GLRC is a great way to achieve these objectives and we are grateful for INCOSE GLRC organizers for presenting students with these great works on systems,” said Bob Kenley, PuISD faculty advisor and IE associate professor of engineering practice.
