Professor Capponi was awarded a grant from The Institute for New Economic Thinking and the Centre for International Governance Innovation. His project entitled "Dynamic Contagion Mechanisms in Financial Networks" was one of 29 projects funded as part of the 2012 round of the CIGI-INET Research Grant Program, which is aimed at finding solutions for the world's most pressing economic problems.
