IE PhD student paper named in HFES top 5

Michelle Jahn presents poster at 59th Annual HFES meeting
IE PhD student Michelle Jahn entered the User Experience (UX) Day Best Paper Competition at a national meeting and earned a spot among the top five best papers.

On Oct. 28, Jahn’s paper, entitled “Enabling Graduate School Decision-making Through User-centered Redesign of a Program Website”, earned this distinction among 19 papers accepted at the 59th International Annual Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Meeting in Los Angeles, CA. Students, faculty, and government representatives attended the HFES meeting, along with industry leaders from Motorola, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, and GoogleX.
