GE Manufacturing Days

GE-Purdue PRIAM (Partnership in Research & Innovation in Advanced Manufacturing) hosted “GE Manufacturing Days” last week on campus.

The event kicked off with a evening reception on Nov. 18, followed by a full day of presentations and discussions on Nov. 19. Ten GE representatives from various GE plants throughout the U.S. attended. Researchers presented reviews of current PRIAM projects and discussed possible future collaboration. Purdue students and faculty from many disciplines attended presentations and discussions, and Purdue students met informally with GE representatives in the afternoon. PRIAM is in the first year of a five-year research agreement between General Electric and Purdue.
