Christopher Clapp has been the managing director of Great Blue Ventures, LLC since 2009. At Great Blue Ventures, Christopher is leveraging his operational experience by helping emerging growth technology entrepreneurs through strategic and operational decisions. Great Blue Ventures works with select Indiana entrepreneurs to help them build successful businesses based on sound organizational principles. Great Blue Ventures is actively involved with leaders of early stage and emerging growth companies by providing advice, mentoring, and access to financial resources. Overlapping with his time at Great Blue Ventures, Christopher served as the chief executive officer of Bluelock, LLC to take high-growth, emerging companies to the next level. Prior to Bluelock, Mr. Clapp guided ANGEL Learning's dynamic growth from the time he assumed company leadership as president and chief executive officer in late 2001 until the sale of the business to Blackboard in May 2009. During his tenure, the company grew impressively by producing profits and positive cash flow each year. The business earned national recognition for its strong customer satisfaction, employee loyalty, and product innovation. Before ANGEL Learning, Mr. Clapp served as vice president of marketing of Made2Manage Systems and CEO of a wholly-owned, e-business subsidiary for the company. As part of executive management, he helped lead Made2Manage from a small, private company to a publicly-traded business. Previously, he served in managerial capacities in the software industry serving manufacturing, supply chain, and telecommunications markets including vice president and general manager at Centillion Data Systems, vice president of marketing at Consona Corporation, and applications consultant at Factrol, Incorporated. Christopher volunteers his time by serving on the boards of several technology companies including PolicyStat and Bluelock. While a student at Purdue, Mr. Clapp was a member of Beta Theta Pi
