Rui’s paper was entitled: Improved model for coupled structural-acoustic modes of tires.  Rui is in the first year of his PhD studies with Prof. J. Stuart Bolton after completing his MSME with Prof. Bolton in December 2014.  Rui has previously received student paper awards from both the Institute of Noise Control Engineering and the Acoustical Society of America for presentations of his MSME work, also related to tire noise and vibration.
