Save the date – April 12, 2024

On April 12, 2024, the AEESP Distinguished Lecturer, Elizabeth Edwards, will give a seminar at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC).  This lecture is held with the UIUC annual Environmental Engineering and Science Spring Symposium.  UIUC would like Purdue to be part of this event. Students will be able to present posters, and EEE will provide transportation to UIUC for this event.


Self-Service Portrait Station 

Students are encouraged to submit a photo of themselves to the EEE Graduate Student Directory (link). If your photo is not on the Directory, please email Michelle (mindarji@purdue.edu) your photo.

A photo can be taken at the self-service portrait booth in the Boilermaker Station Welcome Center in Stewart Center, Room 102. The booth is available without an appointment, Monday – Friday. 8a - 5p.

Students who complete this will receive an EEE mug.


Purdue Great Lakes Sciences Initiative Lunchtime Seminar

The Great Lakes Sciences Initiative Lunchtime Series monthly presentation will be held on the following Tuesdays, from 12 to 1:20PM, in Lawson B151. Lunch will be provided:

  • January 23
  • February 20
  • March 19
  • April 23

Researchers will exchange ideas and build a community focused on Great Lakes science. These sessions are in-person to facilitate networking opportunities and discussion.

Please send Lacy Gehmlich the basic info, high-quality photo, and a quote about your honor and she will likely (not guaranteed) promote it on social media or choose to write an article for the web site.
