Purdue University's Bravo Award Program serves to recognize the excellence that exists among employees across the University. Margaret Whelton received a Bravo Award in the category of Moving the University Forward. Whelton has persistently put in the time and effort to move Purdue and EEE forward. Her work has directly benefited EEE students and the program as a whole. She works tirelessly to connect the students, faculty, and staff of EEE with actual companies and organizations in the real world. 

"It is an honor to be part of such an innovative environmental engineering program and to work with wonderful EEE students, alumni, and EEE supporting industry professionals," said Whelton.
