Purdue Davidson School of Chemical Engineering has announced its schedule of Fall 2018 Graduate Seminars, featuring a slate of outstanding speakers well-known in their respective fields. All seminars are free and open to the public, and will be held in the Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering.

Davidson School of Chemical Engineering Professor You-Yeon Won has been awarded three years of funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to study pharmaceutical polymers. The NSF funding will support Won’s research project, Statistically Sequence-Controlled Pharmaceutical Polymers, and Studies of Their Molecular Thermodynamics and Kinetic Properties.

Davidson School of Chemical Engineering Professor Vilas Pol set a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for The fastest time to arrange all elements of the modern period table on Wednesday, August 15. Cheered by a crowd of more than 200 onlookers in Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering’s Henson Atrium, Pol correctly arranged the 118 individual elements in 8 minutes and 36 seconds.

Davidson School of Chemical Engineering will team up with Krannert School of Management to offer a concurrent master's degree in engineering and business administration. The new program will give students the ability to earn both degrees in two years, rather than the three it would take to earn them separately.

Purdue University faculty Dr. Vilas Pol will attempt a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for The fastest time to arrange all elements of the modern periodic table on Wednesday (August 15, 2018) at 9:30 a.m. in the Henson Atrium, Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering. The event is free and open to the public.
