A team of researchers including Jee Yung Park and Dr. Letian Dou, have shown they can control the energy levels of electrons and holes (positive charge carriers) within a class of materials called perovskites.

Ms. Marion Williamson Blalock, a national leader who devoted over 30 years of her life to recruiting, retaining, and graduating underrepresented (URM) students in the College of Engineering officially retired, in August of 2008 and transitioned from her earthly life in September 2023.
