ChE Student Awarded First Place at Undergrad Research Conference

Tyler Roberts, a Spring 2021 graduate of the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, was awarded first place for his research poster at this year’s Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference.

Tyler Roberts, a Spring 2021 graduate of the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, was awarded first place for his research poster at this Spring's Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference. The judged event, which is the largest showcase of undergraduate research, took place virtually from April 12th to 19th.

Roberts’s winning poster was titled “Optimization of the Enhanced Centrifuge Method to Quantify the Effect of Particle and Surface Properties Towards van der Waals Particle Adhesion,” and placed in the “Academic Unit Awards – Posters” category under the College of Engineering. He is a former student of Stephen Beaudoin.
