ChE faculty honored at 2021 CoE Excellence Awards

Several ChE were honored during the College of Engineering's 2020-21 Faculty Awards of Excellence.

Professor Julie Liu received the Graduate Student Mentorship Award at this year’s CoE Faculty Excellence Awards. This award recognizes faculty members for their excellence in mentoring graduate students and includes a plaque and cash gift of $2,500.

The virtual awards ceremony took place on April 23, 2021, and premiered on YouTube.

In addition, several ChE faculty were acknowledged during the ceremony for obtaining named professorships. They include: Letian Dou, the Charles and Nancy Davidson Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering; Vivek Narsimhan, the Michael and Carolyn Ott Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering; and Brett Savoie and Chongli Yuan, Charles and Nancy Davidson Assistant Professors of Chemical Engineering.
