ChE Professor John Morgan named Editor in Chief of Biotechnology Progress

Davidson School of Chemical Engineering Professor John A. Morgan has been appointed as Editor in Chief for Biotechnology Progress, the official publication of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and its technological community, the Society for Biological Engineering. Dr. Morgan will officially begin his appointment on January 1, 2019.

Morgan has been appointed as Editor in Chief for Biotechnology Progress, the official publication of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and its technological community, the Society for Biological Engineering. Dr. Morgan will officially begin his appointment on January 1, 2019.

Dr. Morgan joined Purdue Chemical Engineering in 2000, and is also the Director of the Chemical Engineering graduate studies program and is a Professor in the Purdue Department of Biochemistry (by courtesy).

Biotechnology Progress features peer-reviewed research reports and reviews in the fast-evolving bioprocessing, biomedical, and biomolecular fields.

The bimonthly publication focuses on the application of biological and engineering principles in applied cellular physiology and metabolic engineering, biocatalysis and bioreactor design, bioseparations and downstream processing, cell culture and tissue engineering, biosensors and process control, bioinformatics and systems biology, biomaterials and artificial organs, and stem cell biology and genetics.
