The Purdue University Board of Trustees approved the promotion of Dr. Chongli Yuan to Associate Professor with tenure during its April meeting.

Dr. Yuan joined the School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue in 2009. She received a B.S from East China University of Science and Technology in 2002 and a PhD from Cornell University in 2007. She was a post-doctoral research associate at ETH, Zurich from 2007-2009.

Dr. Yuan’s research integrates engineering principles, polymer physics, nanotechnology and biology to create new technologies and investigate biological phenomena at the molecular level.
