Ronna Robertson elected Fellow of the Society of Women Engineers
Ronna Robertson (BS 1992) has been selected a 2011 Fellow of the Society of Women Engineers. Ronna also served as the SWE President for 2005-2006.
Ronna Robertson (BS 1992) has been selected a 2011 Fellow of the Society of Women Engineers. This award recognizes a woman who has:
- Achieved professional excellence, while also making substantive contributions towards advancing the objectives and goals of the Society as stated in the bylaws; and
- Contributed significantly to the public's awareness of engineering as a profession for women, informing employers, the profession and the public of women's contributions to the fields of engineering and/or engineering management.
Ronna has made a lasting impact on the Society, and is an impressive example for younger members of a professional, successful woman engineer. Her dedication to advancing women in the engineering profession has been demonstrated through her continuous SWE service and professional and community involvement and as a mentor and role model.
