The Purdue University Board of Trustees on Friday (Aug. 2) ratified six named faculty positions, approved the naming of a study abroad program and two campus facilities, and issued a resolution of appreciation for friends of the university.
Hubo Cai, Associate Professor of Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering and Management, and PhD student Xin Xu received 3rd place for their paper, "Modeling 3D Spatial Constraints to Support Utility Compliance Checking," at the 2019 ASCE International Conference on Computing in Civil Engineering (i3CE2019) in Atlanta, Georgia.
CEM Sophomore Mayra Pena attended the Women’s Construction Leadership Seminar (WCLS) held by Kiewit Corporation in Aurora, CO last month. The seminar was a two day event focused on developing the leadership skills of collegiate women.
