Dr. Jian Wang receives Best Dissertation Award

Dr. Jian Wang, who completed his Ph.D. at Purdue University under the supervision of Dr. Srinivas Peeta in December 2018, has received the 2019 COTA Best Dissertation Award from the Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA).

Dr. Jian Wang, who completed his Ph.D. at Purdue University under the supervision of Dr. Srinivas Peeta in December 2018, has received the 2019 COTA Best Dissertation Award from the Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA) for his dissertation titled System Modeling for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles.

Dr. Wang was funded by the NEXTRANS Center (Region 5 UTC led by Purdue) and the CCAT Center (current Region 5 UTC). The Award was announced and presented at the 2020 COTA Winter Symposium in conjunction with the 2020 Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting.

Dr. Wang also received the 2018 Purdue College of Engineering Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award.
