Arianna Rambaram awarded 2020 Eisenhower Graduate Fellowship

CE master's student Arianna Rambaram has been awarded a fellowship by the Dwight David Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship Program (DDETFP) for the 2020-2021 academic year. The DDETFP is administered by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Universities and Grants Program and awards competitive fellowships to students in transportation-related disciplines.

Arianna is in the second year of her master's program in Professor Nadia Gkritza's Sustainable Transportation Systems Research Group. Her research interests include finding ways to make transportation systems and policies more equitable; she is considering a career in policy after graduate school. For the current 2020-2021 academic year she holds the position of vice president for Purdue's student chapter of Institute of Transportation Engineers and social chair for Purdue's Black Graduate Student Association. She is extremely appreciative of this fellowship and wants to thank the Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship evaluating committee for seeing the value in her proposed research.
