Jinha Jung, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering, has been selected by the Indiana Geographic Information Council (IGIC) to receive the Education and Non-Profit 2022 Excellence in GIS Award for the Indiana Statewide LiDAR Data Portal Project. The award was presented at the IGIC conference in May.

Each year, IGIC honors outstanding projects through the Excellence in GIS Award. This award recognizes organizations in six different categories for their use of geospatial technology to improve our world. Eligible projects are those developed, completed, or that reached a significant milestone in 2021 or 2022.
