Arkaprabha Bhattacharyya receives best presentation award from ISEC 11 conference

Ph.D. student Arkaprabha Bhattacharyya has received the best presentation award from the 11th International Structural Engineering and Construction (ISEC) conference for presenting his paper titled, "Framework for Planning Capacities to Maximize the Feasible Resilience of Network Infrastructure System"

Ph.D. student Arkaprabha Bhattacharyya has received the best presentation award from the 11th International Structural Engineering and Construction (ISEC) conference for presenting his paper titled, "Framework for Planning Capacities to Maximize the Feasible Resilience of Network Infrastructure System."

Arkaprabha is a second year Ph.D. student working under the supervision of Dr. Makarand Hastak at Purdue University's Lyles School of Civil Engineering. He is specializing in the domain of Disaster Risk Reduction, Urban Resilience Planning, and Capacity Building. Before coming to Purdue, Arka earned his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University in India. He went on working for 2 years before joining Purdue graduate program in Fall 2018. He completed his master’s in civil engineering in Summer 2020 and continued for a Ph.D.
