The Purdue Lyles School of Civil Engineering has been recognized as a top 10 undergraduate program in the country.

U.S. News & World Report has released its national rankings of undergrad programs for 2018 with Purdue Civil Engineering ranked #7 in the nation. The rankings are computed from the responses to a survey sent to deans, heads, and selected senior faculty.

Purdue CE has been consistently ranked as a top 10 graduate program by U.S. News & World Report for over a decade.

“I am proud that our School continues to be recognized as one of the premier undergraduate programs in the country,” said Rao S. Govindaraju, Bowen Engineering Head of Civil Engineering and Christopher B. and Susan S. Burke Professor of Civil Engineering. “This ranking is a reflection of the tremendous work and achievements of our students, faculty, staff, and our alumni.”

Overall, Purdue’s College of Engineering undergraduate program was ranked eighth in the nation.
