Together, We Build
Purdue's Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering is built on more than 125 years of outstanding teaching and research. The school has a strong past - and is poised to meet the challenges of the future.
You can be one of the engineers to design mile-high skyscrapers; mega-buildings housing over 100,000 people; highway systems moving cars 10 times more efficiently; high-speed rail systems that make current air travel seem like horse-and-buggy rides; or 3D-printed homes that are self-sufficient, reconfigurable, disaster-proof, water/light-efficient, and produce zero pollution.
At Purdue CCE, we encourage students to have big, bold, noble dreams and empower them to realize those visions as civil engineers. Our students can work as undergraduate research fellows in a range of exciting laboratories, perform internships with significant national and international engineering companies, travel to observe engineering projects abroad, and engage in hands-on experiential opportunities like Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS), co-op programs, and a multitude of student-run clubs with challenging competitions and activities.
Lyles School graduates enjoy a variety of career options. A job placement rate of more than 95% helps ensure you get the chance to use the skills developed here to make a difference in the world. Together, We Build.
We take great pride in our undergraduate students and their accomplishments both in and outside of the classroom. Visit our undergraduate spotlights page for the full listing.
