CE grad student Michelle Mekker has been named an International Road Federation Fellow in the Class of 2018 and will participate in the 2018 Road Scholar Program.

Michelle's research focuses on traffic management in interstate work zones, the use of mobile LiDAR to identify geometric features in work zones, and traffic incident management practices.

Michelle is actively involved in the Purdue ITE student chapter and regularly organizes outreach and professional development activities. She will be graduating in May 2018 with her PhD.
