A paper by Prof. Srinivas Peeta, Ph.D. student Yong Hoon Kim, and NEXTRANS research associate Xiaozheng (Sean) He was recognized as being among the top three papers of the IEEE 18th International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems in Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, Spain. The papers were selected from among 475 fully peer-reviewed conference papers, out of about 900 submissions to the conference. The paper citation is: “Macroscopic Modeling of Spatiotemporal Information Flow Propagation Wave under Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications,” by Yong Hoon Kim, Srinivas Peeta and Xiaozheng (Sean) He.

A different research effort on the same topic by the three authors had previously won the 2014 INFORMS Intelligent Transportation Systems Best Presentation Award.
