Bortiorkor Alabi receives Edward J. Cox Memorial Transportation Scholarship Award

PhD student Bortiorkor "Naa" Alabi has been named a recipient of the 2021-2022 Edward J. Cox Memorial Transportation Scholarship Award. The award is presented annually by the Indiana Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Lyles School of Civil Engineering grad student Bortiorkor "Naa" Alabi has been named a recipient of the 2020-2021 Edward J. Cox Memorial Transportation Scholarship Award. The award is presented annually by the Indiana Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. The main purpose of the award is to encourage students to consider Transportation Engineering/Planning in their studies and career aspirations, and to provide partial financial support for tuition and fees to students who have demonstrated an interest and are likely to work in the transportation field.

Bortiorkor Alabi is an MS student working with Professor Samuel Labi in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering and the Center for Connected and Automated Transportation (CCAT). She is also a PhD student at the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology working with Dr. Julius Keller; and a graduate assistant working with Dean Audeen Fentiman.
