The Art of Teaching | Engineering Art
Teaching is an art and so is engineering. Mastering both arts requires interest, talent, role models, and a lifetime of dedication.
A series of seminars will be held at Purdue’s Lyles School of Civil Engineering in 2017/2018 on the art of teaching engineering. The speakers are renowned teachers and mentors whose effectiveness as teachers has been proven by the success of their students. This series is inspired by and a celebration of Dr. Mete Sözen's career in teaching, and the final seminar will be delivered October 11th by Dr. Polat Gülkan. All are invited to attend and share memories of Dr. Sözen.
