CE graduate students recognized by College of Engineering
Six CE graduate students were recognized by the College of Engineering as students who excel in teaching, service and research.
Each spring, the College of Engineering recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of its graduate students and postdocs with the Engineering Graduate Program Awards.
Magoon Awards
Amy Getchell, Jibin Joseph, Carlos Moro Martinez, and William Pollalis were selected to receive the Magoon Award, given to outstanding teaching assistants and instructors.
The award is made possible through the generous Estus H. and Vashti L. Magoon endowment, and recipients each received $2,000 and a certificate.
Outstanding Service Scholarship
Agustin Quinones was recognized for his service to the graduate student community, the School, the College and/or the University. He received $2,000 and a certificate.
Outstanding Research Award
Rih Teng Wu received this award for students who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in research through publications, participation in professional organizations and willingness to mentor others. He received $2,000 and a certificate.
