Distinguished Professor Wins the Charles D. Scott Award
Michael Ladisch, a distinguished professor of both Agricultural & Biological Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, was presented the Charles D. Scott Award at the annual Symposium on Biotechnology for Fuels and Chemicals.
The Charles D. Scott award is presented annually at the Symposium to persons who have distinguished themselves in the area of the use of biotechnology to produce fuels and chemicals. The Symposium is the annual meeting of the Society for Industrial Microbiology (SIM). SIM is a professional association dedicated to the advancement of microbiological sciences, specifically as applied to industrial materials, processes, products and their associated problems.
