Out of 52 total honorees, 2 student athletes studying Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering were recognized as Academic All-Big Ten honorees this fall season. Junior Andrew Adkison (Purdue football) and sophomore Lauren Pegher (Purdue cross country) were both recipients hailing from AAE.

Pegher is a first-year honoree this season, and Adkison has earned the honors for his second season in a row.

Pegher has competed in five cross country meets in the 25-26 season. She opened the season at the Spartan Invitational, earning 76th place in the 6k with a time of 22:18.6. In October, she earned 125th in the 6k at the Big Ten Championships with a time of 22:22.4, an improvement from her 146th placement at the same event the previous season. She finished the season in 93rd in the 6k at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. Adkison is an Academic All-Big Ten honoree for his second year, first earning the honors for the 2024 season. In that season, as a redshirt freshman, he appeared in all 12 games on special teams, playing 227 snaps on kick and punt coverage. He is currently a wide reciever for the team. This fall, Adkison was one of 23 All-Big Ten honorees from the football team, which was the leading sport for honorees for both Purdue and the Big Ten Conference as a whole.

Student-athletes maintain Academic All-Big Ten honors by keeping a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher after having been enrolled full-time at their university for at least 12 months.
